My Events
My First Breakthrough Event
I have just returned from my first event held in Cancun Mexico at the fabulous Cancun Palace Resort.
My ticket said it was for two people so I invited my daughter to accompany me - I expected that she may want to just chill out by the pool for the event, however she chose to join my in all of the event and the activities. It is fair to say we were both blown away by the experience.
Let me walk you through it. On arriving we made a bee line for our room, some room! We had two queen beds, a double spa bath in the centre of the room, a mini bar (for our free use) that had nothing mini in it, they were all full size bottles! and then onto the balcony where we had a birds eye view of the rest and relaxation part of the resort.
The event itself was just as spectacular. The first night they put on a dinner for us as a welcome. the next day the conference started in full with an array of 13 amazing and inspiring speakers. Day one saw people like Cynthia Kersey of UNSTOPPABLE fame, Justin Boudreau( Gear Up for Excellence), Deanna Latson ( Nutritionist for Wellness Council of America), Patrick Combs ( Off Broadway show- Man1 Bank 0)
and our activity for that day???- Breaking an arrow in the soft part of out neck!! A personal challenge to break through our own self limiting beliefs.

Day two saw more truly gifted, inspirational individuals- Lynn Rose ( singer, songwriter), Ryan Sims (EastonAshe- Us rock band of the year), John Maisel ( firewalk master) and the truly inspirational Sean Stephenson ( Get off your "BUT")
Today's activities involved the bending of a 4 foot long re- bar. A joint exercise between two people realising the strengths of working in harmony and trusting to each other.

Then there was the firewalk that night. I had gone to the event thinking that I would do each of these exercises easily- I would just do them! BUT they were much more challenging and personal than I had anticipated. My daughter was NOT going to do the firewalk- definitely!!
That night I hesitated 3 times before I walked the fire and all I felt, when I did wait to be ready, was the cool of the fire. Did I say cool ?? Yes I said cool! I walked the fire twice once on my own and again with my daughter who went through 3 times in all- What an experience. This is an event I wont forget quickly.
You would think we had had the best by now but NO - this company pulled more rabbits out the hat on the final day with more high calibre speakers such as David Goggins( former navy seal and now fundraiser for children of servicemen killed in service), Troy Bassham ( former Olympic and World Champion shooter, now coaching Mental Management) and Gary Tuerack ( Society of Success and Leadership)
I could not have asked for more value in a conference but you know what - there was more.
A wonderful Black Tie Dinner
